Parades


St. Petersburg Santa Parade & Tree Lighting

Saturday, November 24, 5:30-10:00pm

Join the City of St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation for the NEW Santa Parade & Tree Lighting at night! The parade begins at Albert Whitted Park and runs along Bayshore Drive to 5th Avenue N. Following the Santa Parade, Mayor Rick Kriseman lights up the downtown waterfront around 8pm in North Straub Park for St. Petersburg's annual Tree Lighting. Stay after the Santa Parade & Tree Lighting to enjoy a night in the park with games, a marching band performance, concessions and more!


Lighted Golf Cart Parade

Saturday, December 1, 6:00-8:00pm

Everyone is welcome to celebrate the season in the Pass-a-Grille/Vina Lighted Golf Cart Parade! The parade starts on 8th Ave. at 6pm and ends at Grace on 8th Ave. for holiday refreshments.


St. Pete Beach Boat Parade & Winter Festival in the Park

Friday, December 7, 6:00-8:00pm

Holiday decorated boats will light up the water near the St. Pete Beach Community Center. The free Boat Parade viewing party will include music, art projects for kids and a special visit from Santa!

Christmas Parade and Santa's Visit to Whoville

Saturday, December 8, 11:00am

Join the City of St. Pete Beach and Santa along this year's parade route! The Christmas Parade starts at St. Pete Beach City Hall and heads west down Corey Ave, south on Blind Pass Rd, east on 73rd to Bay Street and back to City Hall. There will be art projects, a movie and a special visit from Santa at the end of the parade so be sure to follow Santa to the fun!

Pinellas Park Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 8, 6:00-8:00pm

Join the city of Pinellas Park for its 46th Annual Christmas Parade! Enjoy 100+ units featuring local businesses, dance units, scouting troops, car clubs, high school marching bands, and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself! The parade proceeds eastbound down Park Blvd. between 58th Street (Railroad Crosing) and 40th Street (The Shoppes At Park Place).

Gulfport Christmas Boat Parade

Saturday, December 8, 6:00-8:00pm

Come for Gulfport's Holiday Hoopla, stay for the Boat Parade! Each year, Boca Ciega Yacht Club members and members of the general public come together to spread holiday joy by decking the hulls and heading out on Boca Ciega Bay to parade the BCYC way!

Festival of Lights Madeira Beach Boat Parade

Saturday, December 8, 6:30-9:00pm

The 52nd Annual Madeira Beach “Festival of Lights” Boat Parade begins at 6:30pm from ROC Park and heads down the Intracoastal Waterway to John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk.


Belleair's Holiday Parade & Party

Sunday, December 9, 5:00-8:00pm

Join the Town of Belleair for the 8th Annual Holiday Parade & Party! After the parade, take a stroll through Hunter Memorial Park for visits with Santa, crafts, food, hot chocolate, music and more!

Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade

Friday, December 14, 6:00-8:00pm

Treasure Island's Lighted Boat Parade is like Las Vegas on the water! Boats will depart the Club at Treasure Island at 6:20pm and end at John's Pass.


Largo Old Fashioned Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 15, 12:00pm

Ring in the holidays during this Old Fashioned Christmas Parade in downtown Largo! The parade starts at noon!


Redington Beaches and Indian Shores Christmas Boat Parade

Sunday, December 16, 6:00-9:00pm

The 2018 Redington Beaches and Indian Shores Lighted Christmas Boat Parade route begins at the Tom Stuart Causeway, travels north through Redington Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores and Indian Shores where the boats dock at Caddy's Pub in Indian Shores.

Holiday in the Park

Friday, November 30 & Saturday, December 1, 6:00-10:00pm

Celebrate the holidays with a tree lighting ceremony at Pinellas Park City Hall at 5:30pm followed by Holiday in the Park at England Brothers Park starting at 6pm. This community-wide family event will feature children's games, entertainment, prizes, photos with Santa, hayrides, children's train ride, holiday music and much more!


Snowfest

Saturday, December 1, 10:00am-3:00pm

There is a 100 percent chance of snowfall in North Straub Park on Saturday, Dec. 1, as the annual holiday Snowfest celebration begins from 10am until 3pm. There will be activities for all ages that include toboggan slide, art tent, karaoke, moonwalk, Kiddyland area designed specifically for preschoolers with inflatable train and more. The $5 wristband includes all activities and can be purchased in advance at any St. Petersburg recreation center from November 19 through November 30.


Holiday Stroll 2018: Rockin Lights Family Night

Saturday, December 1, 6:30-9:30pm

Gather at Largo Central Park for a stroll through the beautiful lights and entertainment at Holiday Stroll 2018. Enjoy a variety of crafts and activities throughout the month for all ages. You won't want to miss the official Christmas tree lighting at 7pm! Other activities include Santa, live entertainment, Holiday Craft Market, Kids Craft Tent, and concessions.


Chanukah in the City

Monday, December 3, 5:30-7:30pm

The Chabad Jewish Center of Greater S. Petersburg and The Mall at Sundial are proudly hosting a free, open-to-all holiday event at Sundial St. Pete! The program, celebrating the festival of Chanukah, will be held on Monday, December 3rd, from 5:30-7:30 pm. Join in for the lighting of the menorah, a symbol of unity, with Mayor Rick Kriseman at 6:30 pm. This year, the celebration is featuring a concert by Sam Glaser, The Skyriders High Flying Trampoline Show, a Chanukah Gelt Drop and more! Admission is FREE!


Holiday Hayride

Thursday, December 6, 6:30-10:00pm

Pinellas Park Recreation presents the 2018 Holiday Hayride! There will be holiday movies while you wait for your ride and refreshments served after your ride. Advance registration and tickets are required and are available at Forbes Recreation Center. Riders should arrive 30 minutes prior to their ride time. Children age 16 and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult. A great FREE family holiday event.


Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 8, 8:30-11:30am

The St Petersburg Lions Club members are excited and prepared to provide a festive breakfast, entertainment and gift bags to kick off the holiday season. Santa will make a stop at the Lions Club Beach House along with games and activities on Saturday, December 8th.


Kids' Holiday Party

Saturday, December 8, 12:00-2:00pm

Join Gulf Beaches Public Library for a holiday pizza party with holiday crafts and a visit from Santa!


Holiday Extravaganza

Saturday, December 8, 4:00-7:00pm

Join Seminole City Center at the Holiday Extravaganza this winter season! Enjoy and experience tastes of the holidays, multiple holiday workshops, hot chocolate station, holiday season fashion show, kids zone, raffles, and much more.


Santa Luncheon

Sunday, December 9, 12:00-2:30pm

See Santa arrive by helicopter at Albert Whitted Airport and enjoy a special holiday lunch! The day also includes holiday activities, crafts and a Santa meet-and-greet. Cost is $10 per person. RSVP by December 4th to Albert Whitted Airport Preservation Society.


Jolly Jam

Friday, December 14, 3:30-7:00pm

Reserve your spot now for Jolly Jam at Romp n' Roll for a fun filled holiday party! Festivities include games and activities, treats, a moon bounce, the famous Bubble Dance Party and pictures with Santa! Members and Non-Members welcome!


Euclid Heights Winter Wonderland

Saturday, December 15, 10:00am-2:00pm

Join Coastal Elite Group of Keller Williams Realty St. Pete for a morning with Santa at Roberts Recreation Center! There will be free photos with Santa (11am-1pm), holiday arts and crafts, and snacks and hot chocolate. Free to attend but register by 12/7. More info.


Holiday Stroll: Let it Snow

Saturday, December 15, 6:30-9:30pm

Gather at Largo Central Park for a stroll through the beautiful lights and entertainment at Holiday Stroll! Other activities include Santa, holiday craft fair, kids snow slide and lighted motorcycles.


First Night St. Pete

Monday, December 31, 4:00pm-12:00am

First Night St Pete is ringing in its 26th Anniversary Celebration of the Arts with eight hours of music, interactive art, puppetry, aerial arts, fire jugglers, spoken word, scavenger hunts and so much more. Gather in downtown St Petersburg for another art filled New Year’s Eve! First Night St. Pete brings the City of St Petersburg a genuine community experience at over 10 venues ranging from musical performances, dance, theatre, comedy, and interactive art installations in an Interactive Art Park.
