February is one of my favorite months. Along with Black History Month, we get to celebrate so many fun events like Localtopia, the St. Pete French Fry Festival, and Valentine’s Day!
Renowned civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. was a huge proponent of using love to help heal some of the anger, pain, and sadness in the world. He once said, “If you are seeking the highest good, I think you can find it through love." In honor of both Martin Luther King Jr. and St. Valentine, I would like to challenge you and your family to show love to yourselves and others in more ways than ever. Here are five free and easy ways to incorporate more gratitude and tenderness into your life.

5 Ways to Spread More Love
1. Smile at five strangers.
2. Give five big bear hugs.
3. Write down five beautiful things you can see. Share them with someone special.
4. Give yourself five compliments.
5. Pick up five pieces of trash.

During the weekdays you can find Ragon managing the Childcare Center at The Body Electric Athletic Company, and on the weekends you’re most likely to see Ragon and her partner David running wild in any one of our beautiful parks or beaches with their three kids (Noah, 2, Alec, 4 and Charlotte, 6).
