Best Pi Day Specials & Celebrations

Who knew math references could be so fun and delicious? This Wednesday, March 14th is National Pi Day, otherwise known as the celebration built around a never-ending fractional number. St. Petersburg area bakeries, pizza shops, and even a world-class museum are offering all kinds of pie specials and events to satisfy everyone's inner mathematician. Whether you're a math lover, foodie, or both, Pi Day is a day worth celebrating in the Sunshine City. Here are some of our favorite spots to grab a slice.

Dine in at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse on Pi Day and get a mini one-topping pizza for $3.14.


This Pi Day, join Joann Dye, Dali Museum docent and Hillsborough Community College Mathematics Professor, and Nicole Matwijczyk, Dali Museum Horticulturist, in an exploration of Dali’s fascination with mathematics. The day’s activities include a presentation, a unique tour through the Avant-Garden, and hands-on activities that relate to the wonders of mathematics, flora, fauna and art. Topics in discussion will include Dali and his obsession with the Golden ratio and Pi and the creation of order in an otherwise seemingly random world. Pi Day at The Dali can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The event is free but does not include admission into the galleries. 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Teens can celebrate Pi Day with pizza and giant Sudoku at the St. Petersburg West Community Library from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
