Weekends are a bit different these days, but at least we can try and keep up with the St. Pete vibe of weird, creative, and just all around awesome. Below are some virtual ideas, activities, and even food resources to help get you through the weekend and then some. Stay strong, St. Pete.


To-Go Boredom Busters


Delivery art kits from makeme studio

Engaging art delivered to you at home, even during the #saferathome initiative. Basic kit delivery begins April 3rd. Here's what you need to know.

  • What products are eligible? - any purchases over $30

  • When can I expect my delivery? - as of now we're planning running deliveries on Fridays and Sundays from 10am-2pm. We will revise this schedule as demand warrants.

  • What is the fee? - As of now this service is complimentary, but delivery assistance/tips will be happily accepted via venmo @melissamudd.

DIY to-go kits from AR Workshop

Turn your "bored" into "boards!" Easy and fun DIY kits for all ages to enjoy at home from AR Workshop, St. Petersburg! Kits include all materials including stencils, wood, a stain color, paint choices, brushes and instructions.


Nook & Cranny DIY Workshops - to-go art kits

No matter where you live, you can create with Nook and Cranny. Their monthly homeMAKER Kits allow you to create a fun and unique project without leaving your home! You can also add on a paint kit!!


Blow off some STEAM while stuck indoors. These new fun-filled kits will allow your little one to express their creativity through play and imagination, just like they otherwise do at Great Explorations. Kits include activities fit for any kid’s interest!

Pinellas Co. Schools Lunch Pickup locations

Aiming to prevent children from going hungry while classes are canceled, the Pinellas County School District has established stations for distributing free meals to the community.

St. Petersburg Free Clinic Drive Thru Food Pantry

Temporary Drive-Thru Food Pantry Hours: Mondays - 8:30am to 3pm Tuesdays - 8:30am to 3pm Thursdays - 8:30am to 7pm Open to all Pinellas County Residents. To receive emergency food supplies, simply present any photo ID. Call 727/821-1200 or visit their COVID-19 Response Web Page by clicking here.

St Pete Online Farmers Market

The St Pete Online Market is a weekly opportunity to buy high quality food and farm-fresh produce, while supporting your local artisan food vendors


Fo Cheezy Free Sandwich (Friday only)

Free sandwiches to anyone in need at Mastry's Brewing Co today (Friday, April 3rd) from 3 to 5. Come down and get their signature melt, the Triple O. G., for free.


Instead of Flowers meal delivery

Tell an "Essential Person" Thank You for all of their hard work during this tough time!! They are worn out and probably too tired to cook. Send a Freshly prepared meal right to their door.

We miss the museums most during this time, but you can still enjoy some of your favorite museums while social distancing.


Snapology of St. Pete - free daily build challenges and online STEM classes

Snapology of St Pete is taking their awesome curriculum online so that kids can keep learning through play! Check out their online schedule for class offerings, times, and dates.


Music & Me is taking our spring session classes ONLINE! The 10-week session will begin on Monday, April 13 and will provide families enrolled with three 10-15 minute video mini-classes per week. You'll get codes to download your spring collection music and a digital copy of your songbook.


We can't wait to see everyone at tomorrow's virtual Drag Queen Story Hour via Zoom!

Stephanie Stuart will read from the Winnie-the-Pooh books.

Central Florida children's author Arielle Haughee will also read from her work.

Great Explorations Children’s Museum has a great online resource for at-home activities, including scavenger hunt, schedules, and hand-washing techniques.


Noisemakers - FB live videos and online music lessons

Bored yet? Online music lessons are available from Gabe himself. Enjoy live video streams on their Facebook page or contact them directly to schedule online lessons.


Online Shopping

TLT is offering online ordering and curbside pickup as well as having live sales and raffles via their Facebook page. No trade items are being accepted at this time.


Book delivery from Tombolo Books

Looking for a screen time break? Tombolo books is offering no-touch delivery on all their books and will ship directly to your home.


We wanted to throw in something for all you mamas out there. Detox designer boutique is doing online ordering via their Instagram and website and offering curbside pick-up or even delivery! Sometimes a little retail therapy can go a long way, even if you can't.
