Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $6/child. 9:00-11:00am.

Terrific Tots at Great Explorations

This members-only program is offered when school is in session for children ages 1-3 and a caregiver. Join the museum for songs and movement, story time, an art or craft exploration and community time for tots and their adults! 9:30-10:00am.

Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Join the library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am and 11:00am.


Kids ages toddler+ can make their own sweet heart filled with craft paper at Growing Up! Activity is included in the cost of a Playspace day pass or membership. 10:30-11:30am.

Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Join Gulf Beaches Public Library for songs, stories and crafts with a groundhog theme. 10:30am.

Master Builders at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Put your engineering skills to the test every Friday! Build with LEGO bricks, KEVA planks and other fun materials. No registration required; grades K & up. 3:30-4:30pm.


Reading Fun Storytime at Childs Park Community Library

Children in grades PreK-2 and their caregivers are invited for stories, music and fun! 4:15-5:00pm.


S.T.R.E.A.M. Club at Childs Park Community Library

Explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math with hands-on science experiments, coding, stories, and more! For children in grades 3-5. 4:15-5:00pm.


Get ready for a fun weekend at Tyrone Square Mall! The Carnival is located near the food court entrance on the south side of the mall. Print $5 discount coupons at DreamlandAmusements.com and meet your family and friends at the mall this weekend. Free Admission and Free Parking. $25 Unlimited Ride Wristband special on Thursday and $30 Friday, Saturday or Sunday. 5:00-11:00pm.

Kids Night Out at Romp n' Roll

Looking for a reliable date night sitter? Join Romp n' Roll every Friday night for Kids Night Out. Each week will feature a different theme and children will get the chance to enjoy a pizza party, gym activities, bounce house and more! For children ages 2 to 5; $25 for members and $30 for non-members. 6:00-9:00pm.


Fueling Your Family at Jim & Heather Gills YMCA

Come enjoy a fun evening with healthy food demonstrations, samples, and advice from a nutritionist followed by Family Yoga at 7 pm to get 2019 kicked off with a healthy start that will roll into a healthy lifetime habit! Free but registration required. 6:30-7:30pm.

St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.

Saturday, January 26th


Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Toddlerdega at Pro Karting Experience

This event is for mini drivers ages 2-6 or Power Wheel size drivers. Pro Karting Experience supplies the race track, you supply the driver and the vehicle. $5 Pit Pass per driver or $20 for Power Wheel Rental/Pit Pass. 9:00-11:00am.

Every Saturday is Toddler Time at Sky Zone! $10 per child and free accompanying adult. 9:30-11:00am.

Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. 10:00am-3:30pm.

St. Pete STEAMfest at Shorecrest Preparatory School

You’re invited to a family-friendly, community-wide celebration of all things creative, inventive, imaginative and fun! Hands-on, interactive, experiential learning geared toward children in preschool through middle school. Free but registration required. 10:00am-2:00pm.

Nature Classes for Youth at McGough Nature Park

Ages 6-13 will enjoy a fun and interactive nature class with different themes for each date. This week's theme is World of Dinosaurs! Cost is $3/class. 10:00-11:00am.

Little Engineer's Club at HR Trains & Toys

Do you have a 3-6 year old that loves trains? Then the Little Engineer's club is a perfect opportunity for them to learn more about trains with a fun train-related activity. Cost is $10 per class and covers the supplies for the class. Additional siblings cost $8 each. 10:30-11:45am.

Wiggle, Giggle, Sing & Dance! at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Enjoy this multi-sensory approach to music for all ages which includes a variety of song styles with dancing, bubbles, scarves, and rhythm instruments. Registration is required and space is limited. 10:30-11:15am.


Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.

Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "Pig the Pug." 11:00am-12:00pm.

Peacock Heart Activity at Growing Up

Growing Up is celebrating Valentines Day early so come make a peacock with heart shaped feathers! Ages: Toddler+. This activity is included with the price of membership or a Playspace day pass. 11:30am-12:30pm.

Children ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.

Join Romp n' Roll for a cookie decorating party! Children can decorate their own cookies, enjoy themed gym activities, a bounce house and more. $15 for members and $20 for non-members. 12:30-2:00pm.


Drag Queen Story Hour at Community Cafe

Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly LGBTQ+ role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real. 1:00pm.


Movies in the Park at McDevitt Park

The Pinellas Park Fire Department would like to invite you and your friends to Movies in the Park at McDevitt Park (7601 60th St N.) for a free outdoor movie - INCREDIBLES 2! Movies in the Park will start at 6:30 pm, the movie begins around 7:00 pm. This event is outdoors so bring a chair or blanket for seating. Event is weather permitting. 6:30pm.


Sunday, January 27th

Wildflower Walk at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

This monthly guided walk highlights native wildflowers along the trails. Learn more about what is blooming, and don’t miss a thing. Cost is $3/adult and $1.50/child. 9:30am.


Corey Avenue Sunday Market at St. Pete Beach

This market hosts 70+ local vendors selling local and conventional produce, plants, herbs, raw honey, take home foods, artisan products, fresh baked goods, lunch bites, local art, hand crafts and more! Fun for all ages and dog-friendly. 10:00am-2:00pm.

Family Yoga Class at Peace of Yoga

Kidding Around Yoga Classes with Desiree utilize yoga poses creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids ages 2 & up. Donations accepted. 11:30am-12:30pm.

Sundays at the Morean Center for Clay

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in clay play session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children ages 3 & up. 1:00-3:00pm.

Cameras and Kids at Sunken Gardens

Learn 10 tips to take better photos using Sunken Gardens’ birds, butterflies, turtles, flowers, and more. Beth Reynolds, Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center guides kids to see the world in a new way with a camera or smart phone. Pre-registration required due to limited space. $9/child includes Garden Admission. Members: $5/child. Ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult and bring their own camera. Adult chaperones pay only the garden admission. 1:00-2:30pm.

Family Money Matters - Budgeting 101 at The Birth Center of St. Pete

Come learn about budgeting! This class is free and open to the public. Participants will discuss simple family budgets, including sinking funds and true monthly expenses. Babies in arm welcome. 2:00-4:00pm.
