School's Out Wednesday, October 12
Don't forget, Pinellas Co. schools will be closed to students next Wednesday, October 12 for a teacher training day. There are, however, lots of fun options for child care for the day if you're in need. Here are some of our favorites:
School's Out Camp
What: Day camp for grades K-3. This camp's theme is Bats- Creatures of the Night.
Where: Great Explorations Children's Museum
When: 9:00am - 3:30pm (early drop-off and late pick-up options)
Cost: $35/members, $40/non-members, $5/before- or after-care
School's Out Day- Getting Spooky
What: A variety of activities for children in grades K-5 at this licensed site.
Where: Highland Recreation Complex, Largo
When: 7:00am - 6:00pm
Cost: $14/members, $18/non-members
No School Day Camp
What: Campers will learn about process, technique and art history while having tons of fun exploring and expanding their creativity. Projects include but are not limited to pottery, canvas, clay and more!
Where: Practically Pikasso
When: 9:30am - 4:00pm
Cost: $65/full day (9:30am - 4pm), $45/half day (9:30am - 12pm)
School's Out Skate
What: Enjoy your day off from school with a full day of skating. Breakfast, lunch and an ice cream dinner are included!
Where: Astro Skate, Pinellas Park
When: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Cost: $10 (skate rental extra)
