American Stage provides quality theatre training in a positive and inspiring environment that gives young people the tools to be fearless, focused, and flexible on stage and in life. Summer workshops at Broadway Arts & Dance Academy include "Toddlers, Toes & Superheroes" for ages 2 to 5 and "Musical Theater Workshops" for ages 5 to 16. Workshops are taught by Broadway alumni with private vocal, acting, audition technique and dance classes available.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve - Young Naturalist Camp

This camp is filled with a variety of exciting activities including nature hikes, games, animal and plant studies, crafts, and wildlife watching. The goal is for campers to explore and learn about their natural world, encourage personal creativity, and learn to share discoveries by working together and having fun. Themes will change weekly. Different field trip destinations will be offered on Thursday each week throughout the summer.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve - Wild Explorers Camp

Explore the natural wonder of Florida with hands-on exploration, interactive games, field excursions, hikes, crafts, and songs designed to nurture the love of the great outdoors. Students will learn about our incredible Florida wildlife, the interdependence of all living things, and concepts of conservation crafted especially for the young mind.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve - Herpetology Camp

Campers explore the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles. Through up-close encounters with a variety of animals, such as gopher tortoises, frogs, lizards, and snakes, campers learn about ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve - Wildlife Ecology Camp

Campers will explore the ecology and conservation of Florida's wildlife and wild lands. A blend of classroom and field sessions will include hands-on activities, guest presentations, and exploration of the preserve's diverse habitats where campers will practice their nature detective skills.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve - Nature Adventure Camp

Campers learn about Florida's unique habitats and their inhabitants, get dirty during dip-netting, observe wildlife while hiking preserve trails, and acquire basic birding skills. Designed with new themes and guest programs throughout the summer, every day includes relevant natural history topics and exciting adventures, crafts, and activities. Different field trip destinations will be offered on Thursdays.

Campers experience a time when family, friendship, and character were as important as food, water, and shelter. Young pioneers will learn through activities adapted from the Association for Experiential Education to foster team building, leadership, and self-esteem. They will have hands-on experiences at the blacksmith shop.

Become a Junior Docent at The Dali Museum’s week-long camp, where campers discover new ways to interpret and create art, meet new friends, and have fun. This year, campers will become art detectives, discovering how to decode the artwork of Salvador Dali. Finding inspirations in Dali’s mysteries, campers will make their own art each day. Campers will learn the meaning behind Dalinian symbols, decipher double images and answer riddles.

The Eckerd College Waterfront Program, one of the largest collegiate programs in the U. S., offers instruction in Little Mariners Watersports, Exploring Watersports, Sailing, Wakeboarding, Windsurfing, Paddlesports, Saltwater Fishing, Children’s Marine Discovery and Exploring Marine Life for students of various ages at various levels. Located on Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, the school provides the perfect environment for learning watersports!

Girls Inc. of Pinellas's 2019 Environmental Science SMART Summer Camp will explore the interdisciplinary field of Environmental Science that integrates physical, biological and information sciences with the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems. All girls will also participate in the GirlSMART Reading Program, Girls Inc. National Literacy Initiative, and the United Way Summer Bridge program, designed to foster a love of reading, improve literacy skills, and reduce summer learning loss.

Come learn about creativity in a fun week-long writing camp with Keep St. Pete Lit teachers at the Morean Center for Clay! Whether you're an accomplished musician or a beginner, Rock Camp is the place to be! Great counselors and teachers, amazing guest musicians, more instruments than ever, fun games, and interactive methods of learning your favorite instrument highlight the program. And don't forget the End of Summer Concert, where campers get up on the big stage and perform for friends, family, and the community. It will be the hit of the summer and a great memory to build a lasting love of music. This year, NoiseMakers Rock Camp will be capped at no more than 12 kids each week. The ages are 5-10 for the four weeks in June. There will be classes available for older kids throughout the summer and a special Rock Star camp in July.

The camp runs from Monday, June 3 to Friday, August 9 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Before and after extended care is offered for an additional $100. Some of the activities planned at this summer-long camp art arts & crafts, science experiments, gardening, games, movies and cooking.

School of Rock's music camps offer an incredible selection of experiences from beginner music camps to intermediate and advanced sessions. Music camps often include performance boot camps, artist-themed camps, songwriting and recording, and more—there's a camp for every interest and skill level. Your child will grow and learn as a skateboarder while making new skate friends along the way! Campers will be going to a different skatepark daily on the School of Skatin Sk8 bus where they will take part in interactive activities designed by professional camp instructors. Join Tampa Bay Watch for an unforgettable summer experience immersed in the Tampa Bay estuary! Estuary EDventures summer camp program is a fun-filled, hands-on learning adventure focused on marine ecology. Under the guidance of a professional education staff, campers will participate in boating trips, snorkeling and exploring native habitats, and collecting unique species inhabiting the estuary.

Vertical Ventures Camp programs will give children the skills and confidence to scale walls up to 40' high with ease. More experienced climbers will learn the skills it takes to tackle some of the more difficult climbs. Participants will learn the fundamentals of climbing movement, equipment and safety. Experienced and supportive staff emphasize personal responsibility and encourage each camper to develop greater self confidence throughout the session. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced level climbers are welcome.
