Friday, April 19th

Dinosaur Egg Hunt at Kenwood's Organic Produce

Bring your little paleontologist to Kenwood's magical courtyard for an allergy-friendly Easter egg hunt -- with no added sugar! Little ones will enjoy a fruit buffet, photo shoot, optional craft project and a dinosaur egg hunt. Toys will be included in eggs in place of candy. Tickets are $15 and good for one child ages 4 & under and up to 2 accompanying adults. 10:00am-12:30pm.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Come join the St. Petersburg Main Library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am & 11:00am.



Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Join Gulf Beaches Public Library for songs, stories and crafts with a bunny theme. 10:30am.

Underwater Egg Hunt at Southwest Pool

The Easter Bunny is missing hundreds of colorful eggs. They have been found but are floating in Southwest Pool. Children that cannot swim must use a life jacket and parents are not permitted in the pool during hunt times. Enjoy open swim outside of the hunt areas for the entire event. Limited spots are available and pre-sale starts March 1. Event is open to ages 5 & up; cost is $5/wristband. 12:00-2:00pm.

Crafty Kids at Seminole Community Library

There is always something new going on at Crafty Kids. Whether it's crafts, science experiments, cooking, games, or stories, Crafty Kids always have fun and make new friends. Minimum of 6 kids required for program to take place; open to students in Grades K-5. This week's theme is A Universe of Stories! Join the library for free play, stories, paper crafts, and a snack. 4:30-5:30pm.


Kids Night Out at Romp n' Roll

Looking for a reliable date night sitter? Join Romp n' Roll every Friday night for Kids Night Out. Each week will feature a different theme and children will get the chance to enjoy a pizza party, gym activities, bounce house and more! For children ages 2 to 5; $25 for members and $30 for non-members. 6:00-9:00pm.

Spring forward and join makeme for a family art night! Choose a pre-sketched design to paint alongside your loved ones -- or paint your own thing! Admission price reflects two participants (both parent and child ages 4 & up create their OWN artwork). $40. 6:30-9:00pm.


St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.


TB Rays vs. Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field

It's $7.11 ticket night at Tropicana Field as the Rays take on the Red Sox! Stop by any participating 7-Eleven to get your $7.11 ticket voucher. 7:10pm.

Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Mainsail Art Festival at Vinoy Park

Join the community in sunny St. Petersburg, FL in the picturesque setting of Vinoy Park for the 44th Annual Mainsail Art Festival! From breathtaking fine art to the fun filled Kids Create tent, weekend long live music, and a vast assortment of food & drink, there is truly something for everyone at Mainsail! 9:00am-6:00pm.


Kidding Around Yoga at Museum of Fine Arts

The Kidding Around Yoga system utilizes the yoga poses or asanas creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more.  The class is specifically designed for kids ages 3 & up – families welcome. Cost is $5 per person and includes admission to the MFA Collection galleries. 10:00-11:00am.


Earth Day Celebration at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join Boyd Hill for a day of exploration with Eckerd College students! Learn about local plants and animals as well as other issues related to the local environment through fun, interactive games and activities. All ages! $3/adult, $1.50/child. 10:00am-2:00pm.

Earth Day Scavenger Hunt at Sunken Gardens

Which of the flamingos recently laid an egg? What power can the Growing Stone give you? Find out by exploring Sunken Gardens’ winding paths, exotic birds, turtles, butterflies, and flowers on a self-guided scavenger hunt at your leisure. You may just win some Florida wildflower seeds to celebrate Earth Day all year long! For all ages. No pre-registration required. Free with paid admission or membership. 10:00am-4:00pm.

Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "Fresh Princess." 11:00am-12:00pm.


Make & Take at Museum of Fine Arts

Create your own masterpiece inspired by works in the collection and special exhibitions. This month, use the supplies provided to design and create your own still life. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-2:00pm.

Playcon Gaming & Comic Con at Highland Recreation Complex

The City of Largo and M&M Video Games are teaming up again for the second annual Playcon. This will be a celebration of gaming, comics, and nerd culture! Featured will be vendors of toys & collectibles, artwork, apparel, comic books, games and more. There will also be gaming competitions, free play, costume contest, and cosplay guests. Bring the whole family, this is a family-friendly event. Cost is $7 for ages 12 and up until 4/20, $10 day of, and ages 11 and under are FREE. 11:00am-5:00pm.


Aviary Tour: Red Tailed Hawk at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Get a behind-the-scenes look! See how Boyd Hill runs the Bird of Prey program and have an up-close encounter with the bird of the month. $3/adult, $1.50/child. 2:00pm.

TB Rays vs. Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field

See the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field! Attendees will receive a Ryne Stanek bottle opener while supplies last. 6:10pm.

Corey Avenue Sunday Market at St. Pete Beach

This market hosts 70+ local vendors selling local and conventional produce, plants, herbs, raw honey, take home foods, artisan products, fresh baked goods, lunch bites, local art, hand crafts and more! Fun for all ages and dog-friendly. 10:00am-2:00pm.


Sundays at the Morean Center for Clay

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in clay play session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children ages 3 & up. 1:00-3:00pm.


TB Rays vs. Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field

It's Rays Family Fun Day at the Trop! Kids can enjoy pregame entertainers, postgame fun and promotional giveaways especially for them at every Sunday home game. 2:10pm.
