Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $6/child. 9:00-11:00am.

Terrific Tots at Great Explorations

This members-only program is offered when school is in session for children ages 1-3 and a caregiver. Join the museum for songs and movement, story time, an art or craft exploration and community time for tots and their adults! 9:30-10:00am.

Join Baby Boot Camp St Pete at the Sundial every First Friday for a FREE class open to all moms. Please register in advance and fill out the waiver at www.BabyBootCamp.com. 9:30-10:30am.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Join the library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am and 11:00am.

Heart Wreath Activity at Growing Up

Come make some heart wreaths with Growing Up to decorate your house for Valentine's Day! Ages: Toddler+. This activity is included with the price of membership or a Playspace day pass. 10:30-11:30am.


Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Preschool-aged children can enjoy songs, stories and crafts with a Valentine's Day theme! 10:30am.


Come join in the music, food and fun of the St. Pete Beach Seafood & Music Festival held on Corey Avenue in downtown St. Pete Beach. Festivities begin Friday evening from 12-10pm and continue Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.  Admission is FREE! 12:00-10:00pm.

Master Builders at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Put your engineering skills to the test every Friday! Build with LEGO bricks, KEVA planks and other fun materials. No registration required; grades K & up. 3:30-4:30pm.


Reading Fun Storytime at Childs Park Community Library

Children in grades PreK-2 and their caregivers are invited for stories, music and fun! 4:15-5:00pm.


S.T.R.E.A.M. Club at Childs Park Community Library

Explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math with hands-on science experiments, coding, stories, and more! For children in grades 3-5. 4:15-5:00pm.


Kids Night Out at Romp n' Roll

Looking for a reliable date night sitter? Join Romp n' Roll every Friday night for Kids Night Out. Each week will feature a different theme and children will get the chance to enjoy a pizza party, gym activities, bounce house and more! For children ages 2 to 5; $25 for members and $30 for non-members. 6:00-9:00pm.


St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.


Saturday, February 2nd

Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Kids Workshop at The Home Depot

In this free workshop, you and your child can build a heart shaped box for Valentine's Day, perfect as a gift for someone you love or to stash all your super sweet Valentine's Day goodies. Once the heart is built, your child can customize it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. 9:00am-12:00pm.


Dress in your best princess attire and join Sky Zone Clearwater for a pretty pretty princess party! There will be fun dress-up jewelry, face painting, breakfast, tea, and more followed by jumping with amazing princesses and surprise characters! Tickets are $14 per child with FREE accompanying adult. 9:30-11:00am.


Kidding Around Yoga at the Museum of Fine Arts

This class is specifically designed for kids – families welcome.  Practicing yoga with everyone in the family, and especially children, creates a special bond. Ages 3 & older. $5 per person, includes admission to the MFA Collection galleries only. 10:00-11:00am.


Community Appreciation Day at Treasure Island Community Center

Join the City of Treasure Island for an exciting showcase of City departments, civic associations and community partners. There will be live music, a touch-a-truck event, vehicle extrication demo, food trucks and vendors, chili cook-off contest, fire hose demo, Sunstar talking ambulance, inflatables, games, train rides, bike rodeo and a community art project. This event is free and open to all! 10:00am-2:00pm.


Open Tree Climb at Pathfinder Outdoor Education

Pathfinder's trained facilitators take you through a brief ground school and then you can climb at your own pace into the canopy of a gorgeous live oak. Anyone ages 6 and up can climb - it's not just for kids! And it's FREE for every climber. 10:00am-3:00pm.


Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. 10:00am-3:30pm.


Raptor Fest at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join Friends of Boyd Hill for a fiercely fun event celebrating raptors! Food Trucks, Environmental Exhibitors, Children's Activities, and MORE! Free Shuttle Service and Parking available at Lake Vista Recreation Center. 10:00am-4:00pm.


Largo Central Railroad at Largo Central Park

Join Largo Central Railroad for a ride around beautiful Largo Central Park on the miniature railroad.  The accurately modeled scale locomotives pull you and your family along a mile long loop through great scenery, the spooky tunnel and a waterfall pond.  Fun for all ages! 10:00am-4:00pm.


Localtopia 2019 at Williams Park

Keep Saint Petersburg Local is proud to bring back Localtopia to Williams Park for its 6th year! Localtopia is St. Pete’s largest “Community Celebration of All Things Local” showcasing over 200 of our city's favorite independent businesses and community organizations. This FREE family-friendly festival also commemorates KSPL's 7-Year Anniversary! Please consider a (minimum) $5 donation upon arrival to spread the local love. 10:00am-5:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "Elmo's Super-Duper Birthday." 11:00am.

Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Chinese New Year Workshop at Young Chefs Academy

Open House at Pinellas Pioneer Settlement

Come visit a hidden gem of St Pete! Explore the Endicott House to see how settlers lived and the General Store in the Brantley Building, the oldest wooden building in St Petersburg. Enjoy a visit to the Blacksmith, Print Shop and Sawmill as well. Admission and parking are both free. 11:00am-2:00pm.


Children ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.

Book Signing & Family Yoga Class at We Rock the Spectrum

Kidding Around Yoga "Yoga Stories" is an interactive book with 15 kid-friendly stories. Family Yoga includes all ages- 2 through 92! It allows family members to spend happy, healthy, quality time together. Sensory Sensitive Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese's

Chuck E. Cheese's offers a sensory-friendly experience on the first Sunday of every month, opening stores two hours before normal opening time. Sensory Sensory events include a trained and caring staff that work to ensure each guest has a fun-filled visit. 9:00-11:00am.


Toddlerdega at Pro Karting Experience

This event is for mini drivers ages 2-6 or Power Wheel size drivers. Pro Karting Experience supplies the race track, you supply the driver and the vehicle. $5 Pit Pass, Per Driver. $20 for Power Wheel Rental/Pit Pass, first come first serve basis. 9:00-11:00am.

Sundays at the Morean Center for Clay

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in clay play session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children ages 3 & up. 1:00-3:00pm.


Join makeme to create this squishy little gal with cuddly fleece! Skill building: sewing curves. Pre-requisite required: License to Sew. $35/child. 1:00-3:00pm.


There will be lots of different ways to make valentines - bubble print art, marble painting in a canister, flubber, rose dough, and of course the worms and shrimp friends will be attending - in this drop-art art and exploration class.
