Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $6/child. 9:00-11:00am.


Terrific Tots at Great Explorations

This members-only program is offered when school is in session for children ages 1-3 and a caregiver. Join the museum for songs and movement, story time, an art or craft exploration and community time for tots and their adults! 9:30-10:00am.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Join the library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am and 11:00am.

Cardinal Canvas at Growing Up

Kids of all ages can make their own winter-themed cardinal hand print canvas at Growing Up! Cost is $3 for members and $9 for non-members (includes Playspace day pass). 10:30-11:30am.


Silhouettes with Erik at Growing Up

Growing Up will be hosting artist Erik Johnson -- a highly skilled, 3rd generation silhouette artist who learned the craft from his father. Within minutes, Erik hand cuts each silhouette just by looking at the subject's profile. When he's done you'll have an amazing keepsake silhouette of your child. Silhouettes are $30 each, a duplicate of the same person is $15. Reserve your spot! 2:00-5:00pm.


Let's Get Loud at Gulfport Public Library

If your child is in Grades K-5, join Gulfport Public Library for their monthly kids' craft program. Make a kazoo, den den daiko drum and maracas, then make some noise at the library! 3:30-5:00pm.


Master Builders at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Put your engineering skills to the test every Friday! Build with LEGO bricks, KEVA planks and other fun materials. No registration required; grades K & up. 3:30-4:30pm.


Internet Safety for Kids at Seminole Community Library

Join Garfield and his friends and learn the importance of internet privacy when using the computer. Online friends are not the same as real friends, and it’s important not to share personal information with strangers. Minimum of 3 kids need for program to take place. Registration required; grades 2-5. 4:00-5:00pm.

Reading Fun Storytime at Childs Park Community Library

Children in grades PreK-2 and their caregivers are invited for stories, music and fun! 4:15-5:00pm.

S.T.R.E.A.M. Club at Childs Park Community Library

Explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math with hands-on science experiments, coding, stories, and more! For children in grades 3-5. 4:15-5:00pm.


Kids Night Out at Romp n' Roll

Looking for a reliable date night sitter? Join Romp n' Roll every Friday night for Kids Night Out. Each week will feature a different theme and children will get the chance to enjoy a pizza party, gym activities, bounce house and more! For children ages 2 to 5; $25 for members and $30 for non-members. 6:00-9:00pm.


St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.

Kidding Around Yoga at The Body Electric Yoga Co.

Kidding Around Yoga is stress-management for kids. Fun-loving Gracie Mayer leads a laughter-filled class of movement, mindfulness, singing, stories, and breathing. For these 45-minutes, kids can relax their busy minds, move their bodies, and enjoy themselves. This class is recommended for children aged 3-7; one free kid per BE Unlimited Member; kids with non-members and additional kids are $8/each. Guardians are free! 9:00-9:45am.

Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Every Saturday is Toddler Time at Sky Zone! $10 per child and free accompanying adult. 9:30-11:00am.


Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. 10:00am-3:30pm.


Arbor Day Celebration at Sunken Gardens

Celebrate Arbor Day at Sunken Gardens! Festivities include kids' crafts, scavenger hunt, free tree seedlings, tree talk and more! Free with Gardens admission/membership. No registration required. 10:00am-2:00pm.


Insect Trek at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Butterflies, bugs and beetles oh my! Join Boyd Hill for a guided hike exploring the secret lives of insects! Fun and informative for all ages. Cost is $3/adult and $1.50/child. 10:00am.


Family Day: Winter Wildlife at The James Museum

Put on your imaginary snowshoes and search the museum for bison, bears, foxes and more! How do these animals cope when the weather outside is frightful? Included with admission. Best for ages 3-10; children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. 10:30am-12:30pm.


Wiggle, Giggle, Sing & Dance! at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Enjoy this multi-sensory approach to music for all ages which includes a variety of song styles with dancing, bubbles, scarves, and rhythm instruments. Registration is required and space is limited. 10:30-11:15am.


Open House at St. Pete Music, Acting and Dance

Make 2019 the year you help your child's dreams become a reality. Visit St. Pete Music, Acting and Dance for free mini-classes and to save $60.00 on music lessons and dance and acting classes. Meet the staff and find out why they are St. Pete’s fastest growing performing arts academy with a 5-Star rating. 2 year-old's dance class and adult dance and acting classes have been added, and 5th-11th graders can register for Matilda the Musical auditions. 11:00am-1:00pm.

Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour Museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.

Saturday Stories at St. Petersburg Main Library

Enjoy stories, music and a cool craft for children in grades PK-2. 11:00am-12:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "Love, Z." 11:00am-12:00pm.


Snowy House Activity at Growing Up

Use your imagination to build your own winter dream house! A cute Popsicle house with snowy roof, and holiday decor. Since winter is short for us Floridians, this is perfect for the little ones ages toddler+ . This activity is included with the price of membership or a Playspace day pass. 11:30am-12:30pm.


Children ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.

Sustainability Carnival at Girls, Inc. of Pinellas

Bring your kids ages 1 to 8 for a day of fun and learning! This carnival is dedicated to teaching kids about sustainability of our health and planet through games and other fun activities. Your kids will learn how to compost, use renewable energy sources, the importance of organic farming and health tips plus enjoy fun activities like face painting, make your own eco-friendly paint, fun crafts, story time, healthy food and speakers for the adults. 1:00-5:00pm.

Night Hike at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join Rangers for this popular, all-ages guided hike. Explore the preserve after hours in a small group setting. Look for alligators, listen for bats and search for scorpions! Limited Space. Cost is $5/adult and $3/child. 6:00pm.

Sunday, January 13th


Toddlerdega at Pro Karting Experience

This event is for mini drivers ages 2-6 or Power Wheel size drivers. Pro Karting Experience supplies the race track, you supply the driver and the vehicle. $5 Pit Pass per driver or $20 for Power Wheel Rental/Pit Pass, first come first serve basis. 9:00-11:00am.


Sing N' Stroll with Music & Me at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join Music & Me for a family-friendly stroll through Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Spend 30 minutes learning about various wildlife in a kid-friendly way from Tom McGrath, aka The Muffin Man, followed by songs led by Colleen McGrath Lilley. There will be two walks, 30 minutes each, beginning at 9:30 and 10:15. 9:30am & 10:15am.


Family Yoga Class at Peace of Yoga

Kidding Around Yoga Classes with Desiree utilize yoga poses creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids ages 2 & up. Donations accepted. 11:30am-12:30pm.


Alligator Walk at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Learn about the American alligator, Florida’s state reptile, which calls our wetlands home. Cost is $3/adult and $1.50/child. 11:30am.


Sundays at the Morean Center for Clay

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in clay play session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children ages 3 & up. 1:00-3:00pm.


Creative Discovery Workshop at Florida CraftArt

In this workshop for children and families, students will learn basic instruction using wood to build a novelty box with a lid and learn about types of wood/trees, basic box making techniques, and how to glue, sand, assemble and measure wood. All materials will be provided. Cost is $5 per member of Florida CraftArt and $10 per nonmember. 1:30-3:30pm.


Natural Printmaking at Pinellas Pioneer Settlement

Find natural patterns in nature and use them to create a beautiful hand printed tea towel to take home! Perfect for beginners. Cost is $20, ages 6 and up. 2:00pm.
