Friday, March 29


Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $6/child. 9:00-11:00am.


Another Time Around Kids' Consignment Event at Highland Recreation Center

Shop brand name clothing, toys, and so much more for newborns to teen, and save 50%-75% off retail prices at this weekend-long kids' consignment event. Open to the public! 9:30am-3:00pm.


Terrific Tots at Great Explorations

This members-only program is offered when school is in session for children ages 1-3 and a caregiver. Join the museum for songs and movement, story time, an art or craft exploration and community time for tots and their adults! 9:30-10:00am.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Join the library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am and 11:00am.


Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Join Gulf Beaches Public Library for songs, stories and crafts with a spring theme. 10:30am.


St. Paul Festival at St. Paul's Catholic Church

Come join St. Paul's Catholic Church for 4 days of family fun, carnival rides, games, eats, treats, nightly live entertainment and bingo on the weekend 2-6pm. Admission to the festival is always free and includes the nightly bands. All wristbands and discounted ride tickets are only available until noon Thu Mar 28 and are not sold once the festival begins. 12:00pm-11:00pm.


Master Builders at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Put your engineering skills to the test every Friday! Build with LEGO bricks, KEVA planks and other fun materials. No registration required; grades K & up. 3:30-4:30pm.

Movies in the Park at Largo Central Park

Gather up the family, grab your blankets and join Largo Recreation for a movie on the big screen. Christopher Robin will start at dusk. On-site parking and concessions are available. 6:30pm.


St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.

"The Stars of Spring" at SPC Planetarium & Observatory

Explore the stars without trekking far from home, for a price that's out of this world: Free. The planetarium offers two free public shows on Friday nights. Shows are hosted by resident astronomer Dr. Craig Joseph and feature live narration with images displayed by computer-controlled projectors. Ages 5+. 7:00pm & 8:15pm.


$7.11 Fridays are back at Tropicana Field as the Rays take on the Astros. To take advantage of this deal, stop by any participating 7-Eleven store to pick up a ticket voucher. 7:10pm.


Saturday, March 30th


The Grand Prix of Gulfport announces its 3rd Annual Boat Show & American Power Boat Association Formula Boat Race. The entire waterfront of Gulfport, FL will be transformed into a center of activity including pleasure boats on display for sale, World Class Power Boat Racing, vendor booths and more. The kids' remote control boat race begins at 9am on Saturday. 8:00am-6:00pm.


It’s time again for the Historic Uptown Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale! Find some treasures as neighbors clean out their closets and homes. Squeeze in some extra shopping at the pop-up street market along the 600 block of 5th St. N at Round Lake Park beginning at 9 am. Local vendors will be offering everything from succulents and baked goods to dog treats, vintage clothing, children’s items, and more at this pet and family friendly market located across from new and popular Uptown businesses The Studieux, Flatbread & Butter, and the soon-to-open Pete’s General. 8:00am-12:00pm.


Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Nature's Elements at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Ages 3-6 will enjoy nature walks, tram rides, program animals, art, games, songs, and stories with environmental educator Amalia Fernand from Nature Explorers International. Amalia has taught programs at Boyd Hill since 2001, and is offering four weeks of classes focusing on: amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, that are designed specifically for a younger age. Nature Explorers from 1-4pm, will have similar activities that are tailored for ages 7-12. $15/child. 9:30am-12:30pm.


Jump with furry friends Chase, Marshall, Rocky, & Skye! As always, there will also be a surprise special guest! Doors open at 9am. Just $14 per child with FREE accompanying adults! 9:30-11:00am.


Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. 10:00am-3:30pm.


Chalk-Lit Fair at Horan Park

Join the St. Pete Beach Community Center and St. Pete Beach Library for this FREE family-friendly event that celebrates the art community with a twist! Register to participate in the book-themed sidewalk chalk contest, visit with local artists and authors, watch live performances, and enjoy carnival games, food, beer and wine. 10:00am-12:00pm.


Little Engineer's Club at HR Trains & Toys

Do you have a 3-6 year old that loves trains? Then the Little Engineer's club is a perfect opportunity for them to learn more about trains with a fun train-related activity. Cost is $10 per class and covers the supplies for the class. Additional siblings cost $8 each. 10:30-11:45am.


Wiggle, Giggle, Sing & Dance! at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Enjoy this multi-sensory approach to music for all ages which includes a variety of song styles with dancing, bubbles, scarves, and rhythm instruments. Registration is required and space is limited. 10:30-11:15am.


Feed the Critters Food Truck Rally at McGough Nature Park

Join Largo Recreation at the park for a day of food and feathered and furry fundraising. Visit one of the food truck for some good eats, and then meet one of the special raptors or reptiles and drop some money into their donation boxes or take a chance on a prize. 11:00am-3:00pm.

Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.


The Florida Orchestra Family Concert at St. Petersburg Main Library

The Florida Orchestra Family Concerts are kid-sized chamber concerts that introduce youngsters (ages PreK-2nd grade) to classical music and the instruments of the orchestra. Performances are at 11:00 am and 12:15 pm, and last about 35 minutes. The North Suncoast Associates’ popular Instrument Petting Zoo will be in the Storytime Room and starts 30 minutes before each performance. Admission is free, and no registration is required. 11:00am-1:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "We are the Gardeners." 11:00am-12:00pm.


DillyDally with Dali at The DaliChildren ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.

Kids will learn tumbling, balance, strength, climbing, eye-hand coordination and Ninja skills in this Ninja Warrior Training for ages 3-4! They will have a great time in this one-hour class featuring a ninja course sized just for them plus an awesome ball pit and climbing tunnels. This is a one time event. $25 Drop in. Siblings receive a 20% discount. 2:30-3:30pm.

Pajama Party at Romp n' Roll

Come dressed in your favorite pajamas while children experience the concept of a "Slumber party". They'll enjoy milk and cookies, glow stick ring toss, flashlight hide and seek, jumping on the bed (bounce house) and more! Members and non-members welcome. 5:00-6:30pm.


Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field

See the Rays play the Houston Astros at home! All fans will receive a Blake Snell Cy Zilla (while supplies last). 6:10pm.


Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium

See the Rowdies take on the Loudoun United FC at home! Kickoff is at 7:30pm.


Family Night Hike at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join rangers for the preserve's most popular guided hike to explore the preserve after hours in a small group setting. Look for alligators, listen for bats and search for scorpions! $5/adult, $3/child. 8:00pm.

Sunday, March 31st

Corey Avenue Sunday Market at St. Pete Beach

This market hosts 70+ local vendors selling local and conventional produce, plants, herbs, raw honey, take home foods, artisan products, fresh baked goods, lunch bites, local art, hand crafts and more! Fun for all ages and dog-friendly. 10:00am-2:00pm.


Family Yoga Class at Peace of Yoga

Kidding Around Yoga Classes with Desiree utilize yoga poses creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids ages 2 & up. Donations accepted. 11:30am-12:30pm.

Rays Family Fun Day at Tropicana Field

Every Sunday home game is Family Fun Day presented by Tampa General Hospital. Kids can enjoy pregame entertainers, postgame fun and promotional giveaways especially for them. 1:10pm.
