St. Jude Fall Festival

Friday, November 15th


Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $8/child. 9:00-11:00am.

Preschool Science at Highland Recreation Complex

Preschool Science is a monthly drop-in science program for kids ages 5 & under. Cost is $5/members and $10/non-members. 9:30-10:30am.


Babytime at Gulfport Public Library

If you have little ones under 2 years old, please join Gulfport Public Library for Babytime. There will be songs, books, lap bounce rhymes, and the opportunity to meet other caregivers with infants and young toddlers. Older siblings are also welcome. 10:00-10:30am.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Come join the main library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am & 11:00am.


Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Join Gulf Beaches Public Library for songs, stories, and crafts with a "Construction" theme. 10:30am.


St. Jude Fall Festival at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church

The St. Jude Fall Festival is back! This year, the Cathedral School of St. Jude is partnering with The Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport for a great family event happening Thursday, Nov. 14 - Sunday, Nov. 17. Ride wristbands are available at the festival. 2:00-11:00pm.

Master Builders at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Grades K and up can put their engineering skills to the test! Build with LEGO® bricks, KEVA® planks, and other fun materials. 3:30-4:30pm.


S.T.R.E.A.M. Club at Childs Park Library

Explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math at Childs Park Library's S.T.R.E.A.M. Club. Join in for hands-on science experiments, coding, stories, and more!

For children grades 3 - 5. 4:15-5:00pm.


Fall Health Market at Best Day Fitness and Floats

Join Best Day Fitness and Floats for their Fall Health Market featuring live music, food & drinks, shopping, raffles, face painting, storytime, yoga, and other demos. Funds raised benefit Thrill the Burg Children's Charity. 5:00-8:00pm.

Movies in the Park at Largo Central Park

Gather up the family, grab your blankets and join Largo Rec for a movie on the big screen in beautiful Largo Central Park. Free on-site parking available. Food and beverages are available for sale, including smores and hot dogs that you can make in the fire pit. Lego Movie 2 begins at dusk. 6:00-8:30pm.


Kid's Night Out at Romp N Roll

Treat your kids ages 2 to 5 and yourself to a fun night out! Parents get an evening to themselves while the children get to run, play, dance, and have fun with energetic instructors. A pizza party dinner and bubble dance party are included. Children do not need to be potty-trained. $25/member, $30/non-member (sibling discount available). 6:00-9:00pm.


Parents Night Out/Friday Night Fun at Highland Recreation Complex

Kids will have a blast playing fun games throughout the facility including the gym, PlayWorld, and the game room. The snack shop will be open for purchases. Younger children are offered separate activities in the preschool room and must be potty trained. Cost: HC $70/$140 per season, Drop-in fee: $7/$14. 6:30-9:30pm.


Friday Night Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.


Saturday, November 16th


Weedon Walkabout at Weedon Island Preserve

Join in for a guided hike through the mangrove and upland ecosystems of Weedon Island Preserve. Learn about the coastal environment, native wildlife, and early history of the Preserve. This hike may be up to 2 miles (round trip). All ages are welcome but children younger than 6 years old may find this hike challenging. 9:00-11:00am.


Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

St. Petersburg's Saturday Morning Market is back for fall! This market is an extraordinary ode to great food, creative expression, and our wonderfully vibrant community. Come see what happens when you combine a Farmers Market, a Craft Fair, and a Festival into an amazing weekly gathering. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Wildflower Walk at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

A ranger-guided walk highlights native wildflowers along the trails. Learn more about what is blooming this month! $3/adult, $1.50/child. 9:30am.


Mini & Me Yoga at The Studieaux

In conjunction with Clatsch.com & Sunshine City Kids, The Studieaux is pleased to offer monthly Mini & Me Yoga -- all mothers, fathers, guardians, and friends are welcomed and encouraged. Join in for a fun and spirited Merge AM Routine, intended to engage the babes and encourage a more balanced body for all! All ages. 9:30-10:30am.


Come meet, greet, and jump with your favorite characters. Cost is $18 per child with free accompanying adults. 9:30-11:00am.


Saturdays at the Morean Arts Center

Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. Art activities are geared toward children ages 5 to 10. 10:00am-12:30pm & 1:00-3:30pm.


Tampa Bay Holiday Market at The Coliseum

The Tampa Holiday Market & Expo is a 2-day event with free admission being held November 16-17. There will be goodies and treats, gifts large and small, something and everything for one and all including various kinds of chocolates, candles, jewelry, handbags, garments, holiday gifts, and decorative items. Santa will be in the house both Saturday and Sunday. 10:00am-5:00pm.


Pelikids Youth Runs at St. Pete Run Fest

The PeliKids Youth Runs take place St. Pete’s beautiful downtown waterfront and include 3 different distances for kids of all ages: Lil’ Shrimp Fun Runs (ages 1 to 4), PeliKids One Miler (ages 5 to 13), and PeliKids Marathon Challenge (grades K-8). All proceeds from the PeliKids Youth Runs go to #GoldTogether for Childhood Cancer Awareness. 10:30am-12:00pm.


Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour Museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "Jack Frost vs. the Abominable Snowman." 11:00am-12:00pm.


Babywearing 101 at The Littlest Trunk

Join The Littlest Trunk to learn all about babywearing and how it can make life easier for you. Included in this session is a hands-on fitting, so bring your carrier; and if you don't have one, the shop has you covered with dozens of options. The $10 registration fee can be applied to the purchase of a carrier on the day of the class. 11:00am-1:00pm.


Explore More! Family Days at the MFA Join the MFA every third Saturday of the month for a special day of family fun! With arts and crafts, family tours, and other special programming, there is so much to do at the museum. Each month will feature a different theme so your family can explore again and again. This month's theme is "All About Insects." Free for members or included with cost of admission. No reservation required. 11:00am-2:00pm.


Imagine THAT! at Imagine Museum

Join the Imagine Museum for a fun Imagine THAT! event with The Florida Orchestra! Presented by the North Suncoast Associates volunteers, the Instrument Petting Zoo offers children of all ages and their families an opportunity to see, touch, hear, and play the instruments of the orchestra. This program provides a unique, free opportunity for children and adults to deepen their understanding of the orchestra and encourages future enjoyment and participation in instrumental music. 11:00am-2:00pm.


Children ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities that educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.


Family Movie at Gulfport Public Library

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is the movie of the month playing for free at Gulfport Public Library. 1:30-3:30pm.


Creature Feature at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Live animal encounter! Learn interesting facts about a program animal featured at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve every Saturday and Sunday. 2:30pm.


Family Night Hike at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Join rangers for this popular guided hike where you and your family can explore the preserve after hours in a small group setting. Look for alligators, listen for bats, and search for scorpions. Cost is $5. 7:00pm.


Movie in the Park at Azalea Park

This free movie in the park is presented by St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation, TASCO, and Life Church. Bring a low chair or blanket to Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse. 7:00-10:00pm.


Sunday, November 17th


Family Yoga Class at Peace of Yoga

Kidding Around Yoga Classes with Desiree utilize yoga poses creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids (2 and older), but moms, dads, grandparents, and other caregivers are welcome! Donations accepted. 10:00-11:00am.


Corey Avenue Sunday Market at St. Pete Beach

Find this market located on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach. This market hosts 70+ local vendors selling local and conventional produce, plants, herbs, raw honey, take home foods, artisan products, fresh baked goods, lunch bites, local art, handcrafts and more! Fun for all ages and dog-friendly. 10:00am-2:00pm.

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in Clay Play Session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children (not recommended for children under 3 years old). 1:00-3:00pm.


Chess Club at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library

Does your K-12 grader enjoy playing chess? Are they interested in learning the game? If so, join the library for Chess Club to learn the game or put their skills to the test! This program is run by teen volunteers. Registration required. Stop by or call Youth Services at 727-369-0664 to register. 1:30-2:30pm.
