Friday, November 30


Open Gym at Bayside Sports Academy

Open Gym is open to children ages 6 & under every Friday. $6/child. 9:00-11:00am.


Terrific Tots at Great Explorations Children's Museum

This members-only program is offered when school is in session for children ages 1-3 and a caregiver. Join the museum for songs and movement, story time, an art or craft exploration and community time for tots and their adults! 9:30-10:00am.


Toddler Early Literacy Program at St. Petersburg Main Library

Join the library for story time featuring movement, music and fun with rhymes, stories, and puppets! For children ages 1 - 3 with a caregiver. 10:15am and 11:00am.


Preschool Story Time at Gulf Beaches Public Library

Preschool-aged children can enjoy songs, stories and crafts with a theme! 10:30am.


Reading Fun Storytime at Childs Park Community Library

Children in grades PreK-2 and their caregivers are invited for stories, music and fun! 4:15-5:00pm.


S.T.R.E.A.M. Club at Childs Park Community Library

Explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math with hands-on science experiments, coding, stories, and more! For children in grades 3-5. 4:15-5:00pm


Come celebrate the holidays at Pinellas Park's 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony followed immediately by Holiday In The Park! This community-wide family event at England Brothers Park will feature children's games, entertainment, prizes, holiday music, photos with Santa, hayrides, children's train ride and much more! 5:30-10:00pm.


Holiday Drop N Shop at Seminole Community Library

Let the library staff watch your child while you enjoy a night of shopping, wrapping, or savoring your last moments of sanity before the holiday season begins! The fun filled evening will include pizza, movies, games, crafts, and more! Children must be dropped off no later than 6:15 pm and picked up promptly at 9:00 pm. Registration required. 6:00-9:00pm.


Winter Fun Fair & Carnival at St. Patrick Catholic School

This family-friendly annual school fun fair and carnival features amusement rides, games for ALL ages, food for everyone (phenomenal pulled pork, authentic Mexican cuisine, Asian food, hot dogs, hamburgers, and much more), Beer Garden, Silent Auction and Raffle, weekend Marketplace, and more. 6:00-10:00pm.


St. Pete Shuffle at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Friday nights are free and open to the public at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club! Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy the courts. 7:00-10:00pm.


"Yuletide Skies" at the SPC Planetarium & Observatory

Be sure to visit SPC's Yuletide planetarium decorated for the holiday season! Go back in time 2000 years to see astronomical events that may have inspired the Biblical account of the "Christmas Star." Friday shows are free, but children must be at least 5 years old to attend. 7:00pm & 8:15pm.


Come watch tomorrow’s superstars of dance on the stage of The Palladium's Hough Hall. Suzanne Pomerantzeff is the director and chief choreographer for this timeless classic. Tickets are $25 for adults or $15 for youth/students/seniors. 7:30pm.


Saturday, December 1


SPAS Navigating Nature Camp at Boyd Hill Environmental Center

Navigating Nature, sponsored by the St. Petersburg Audubon Society, is a free camp for kids in grades 4 through 8. Campers are given the opportunity to experience Nature up-close-and-personal through a variety of activities including nature walks, animal encounters, crafts, and hands-on science. 8:30am-11:30am.

Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium

This lively and huge outdoor market is open from October to May in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. Live music, a variety of vendors and a strong sense of community make this market the heart of St. Pete. 9:00am-2:00pm.


Kids Workshop at The Home Depot

Dash through the snow in The Home Depot's hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a model sleigh pulled by a reindeer. Once your sleigh is complete, you and your musher can decorate it with paint and stickers and put imagination to work towing gifts around town. 9:00am-12:00pm.


Nature's Elements at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Children ages 3 to 6 will enjoy nature walks, tram rides, program animals, art, games, songs, and stories with environmental educator in this drop-off program with Amalia Fernand from Nature Explorers International. Nature Explorers, from 1 to 4pm, will have similar activities tailored for ages 7 to 12. Cost is $15. 9:30am-12:30pm.


Largo Central Railroad at Largo Central Park

Join Largo Central Railroad for a ride around beautiful Largo Central Park on the miniature railroad.  The accurately modeled scale locomotives pull you and your family along a mile long loop through great scenery, the spooky tunnel and a waterfall pond.  Fun for all ages! 10:00am-4:00pm.


Saturdays @ the Morean is a free family drop-in art studio hosted by the Morean Arts Center. 10:00am-3:30pm.


Open Tree Climb at Pathfinder Outdoor Education

Pathfinder's trained facilitators take you through a brief ground school and then you can climb at your own pace into the canopy of a gorgeous live oak. Anyone ages 6 and up can climb - it's not just for kids! And it's FREE for every climber. 10:00am-3:00pm.


Snowfest at North Straub Park

There is a 100 percent chance of snowfall in North Straub Park on Saturday, Dec. 1, as the annual holiday Snowfest celebration begins from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be activities for all ages that include toboggan slides, art tent, karaoke, moonwalk, Kiddyland area designed specifically for preschoolers with inflatable train and more. Food truck concessions will be available. The $5 wristband includes all activities and can be purchased in advance at any St. Petersburg recreation center from November 19 through November 30. 10:00am-3:00pm.


Snow Blast at Tyrone Square

SNOW in St. Petersburg! Snow Blast is a winter family festival for all ages featuring the latest in snow-making technology to provide a true snow experience! Reserve your time today! 10:00am-8:00pm.


What better way to start the holiday season than by making adorable cinnamon stick ornaments?! This is a premium craft and costs $3 in addition to a day pass or is half-priced for members. Please sign up to ensure your spot in the activity. 11:30am-12:30am.

Little Surrealists Tour at The Dali Museum

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to bring their families on a special 1-hour Museum tour. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-12:00pm.

Make & Take Saturday at the Museum of Fine Arts

Kids ages 5 & up can create their own masterpiece inspired by works in the collection and special exhibitions. Free with museum admission. 11:00am-2:00pm.

Open House at Pinellas Pioneer Settlement

Come visit a hidden gem of St Pete! Explore the Endicott House to see how settlers lived and the General Store in the Brantley Building, the oldest wooden building in St Petersburg. Enjoy a visit to the Blacksmith, Print Shop and Sawmill as well. Admission and parking are both free. 11:00am-2:00pm.


St. Pete Indie Flea at Green Bench Brewing Co.

Join Indie Flea for their December Street Market at Green Bench Brewing Co! You will find 100+ artisans and vendors, food trucks, mobile shops, guest Dj +more! 11:00am-4:00pm.


Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Join Barnes & Noble for a storytime and activities featuring "How to Catch a Snowman." 11:00am.


Photos with Santa at Crescent Lake Park

Bring the kids and pets down to Crescent Lake Park and get your photo taken with Santa and visit with the elves! Holiday beverages and treats will be provided! All proceeds from the event will benefit local rescue Gimme Shelter Pet Adoption! 12:00-3:00pm.


Children ages 4-11 can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. Cost is free. 12:00-2:30pm.


Christmas in John's Pass Village

Join John's Pass Village for the 5th annual Jingle Bell Seawall tournament and the John's Pass Village tree lighting. To register for the kids seawall tournament, visit anglerarmory.com. The tree lighting will be at 6:15 p.m. with a special guest arriving with the Madeira Beach Fire Department. 12:30-7:30pm.


Tierra Verde Business Partnership presents Tierra Verde's 8th Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree. The event features a visit with Santa, games for kids of all ages, live music and entertainment, pet parade and raffle prizes. 4:00-7:00pm.


Lighted Golf Cart Parade at Pass-a-Grille Beach

Everyone is welcome to join the Lighted Golf Cart Parade at Pass-a-Grille Beach! The parade begins on 8th Avenue at 6pm. Come early and do some Christmas Shopping or a grab bite to eat! 6:00-8:00pm.


Gather at Largo Central Park for a stroll through the beautiful lights and entertainment! You won't want to miss the official Christmas tree lighting at 7pm! Other activities include Santa, live entertainment, holiday craft market, kids craft tent and concessions. 6:30-9:30pm.

Sunday, December 2nd


Sensory Sensitive Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese's

Chuck E. Cheese's offers a sensory-friendly experience on the first Sunday of every month, opening stores two hours before normal opening time. Sensory Sensory events include a trained and caring staff that work to ensure each guest has a fun-filled visit. 9:00-11:00am.

Toddlerdega at Pro Karting Experience

This event is for mini drivers ages 2 to 6 or Power Wheel size drivers. Pro Karting Experience supplies the race track, you supply the driver and the vehicle. $5 Pit Pass per driver. $20 for Power Wheel rental/Pit Pass. 9:00-11:00am.

Morris' Birthday Celebration at Great Explorations

Members of Great Ex are invited to join the museum from 10 am – 12 pm for Morris’ Birthday Celebration!  Come help their mascot Morris the Explorasaurus celebrate before they open to the public.  There will be birthday games, activities, crafts and even cupcakes.  This will also be a great opportunity to learn about Birthday Parties at Great Ex or take advantage of the annual holiday membership sale.  This event is free for members. 10:00am-12:00pm.


Family Yoga Class at Peace of Yoga

Kidding Around Yoga Classes with Desiree utilize yoga poses creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids ages 2 & up. Donations accepted. 11:30am-12:30pm.


Holiday Block Party on MLK St. N

Join St. Pete Salt Works along with all the businesses along MLK between 5th and 7th Ave N for a holiday block party. There will be music, vendors, TONS of holiday specials, activities, giveaways, and more! 12:00-6:00pm.


Sundays at the Morean Center for Clay

Sundays @ The Morean is a free family drop-in clay play session hosted by the Morean Center for Clay. Clay, tools and working tables provided, please bring your imagination. This session is open to all families with children ages 3 & up. 1:00-3:00pm.


SPARK Lab at St. Petersburg Main Library

Create & learn with activities for children in 3rd - 5th grade that focus on S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math). 2:30-3:30pm.
